Hispanic Serving Institution

Redlands is designated as a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) by the U.S. Department of Education

The U.S. Department of Education has designated the University of Redlands as a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI), recognizing the institution’s ongoing commitment to serving Hispanic/Latinx Americans among the University’s student populations.

What HSI means for Redlands

The University is eligible for U.S. Department of Education grants to expand educational opportunities for Hispanic/Latinx students; help increase the number of Hispanic/Latinx students attaining degrees in the STEM fields; and expand educational opportunities for students earning postsecondary degrees.
